In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, we acknowledge that Ethnik operates on the territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, comprised of the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani First Nations; the Tsuut’ina, and the Îyârhe Nakoda, comprised of the Chiniki, Goodstoney, and Bearspaw First Nations. This territory is also the home of the Métis Nation of Alberta, Battle River Territory, Calgary Nose Hill and Calgary Elbow Métis Districts 5 and 6. Acknowledging the land where we have the privilege to live, work, and play is an act of reciprocity and respect. We thank these Nations for reminding us of our collective responsibility to each other, to the land, and to all of creation.
